What you can expect from
your Family session
Your session is designed to be relaxed, guided, and personalized to your family.
We can’t wait to create something beautiful together. Your 40 min. session will include guided posing and a variety of styled setups to give you a diverse and timeless gallery.
We’ll move through different poses and setups, giving you a beautiful variety of images—from soft, intimate moments to more styled, editorial looks. Don’t worry about posing, we’ll guide you every step of the way so you feel comfortable and confident.
All prop elements are provided, so you don’t need to bring anything unless there’s something special you’d like included (like a sentimental item).
To help you look and feel your best, we recommend arriving with your hair and makeup already done, as these services are not provided in-studio. You will want to come in clothing that you are comfortable in and that coordinates with one another.
The session is thoughtfully paced to allow time for adjustments, and posing ensuring you feel at ease throughout the experience while we capture timeless, elegant family portraits.

How far in advance should I book?
This will depend on a few factors so we always suggest calling and one of our agents will find a session perfect for you.
Why do we ask for a reservation fee?
Why do we ask for a reservation fee?
The reservation fee holds your place and ensures that everyone is invested in showing up for their session. It can then be applied to your order if you choose to order more products that you fall in love with.
What is the cancellation/rescheduling policy?
We do allow for reschedules as long as they are at least 7 days prior to the session. We will allow for ONE emergency one time reschedule inside of that 7 days however, the reservation fee can then only be applied to an order.
What payment methods do we accept?
We accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express, Apple Pay and Amazon Pay. We also, offer payment plans through Affirm and Klarna
What are your prices and packages?
Our clients typically invest between $500 and $5,000+, with most collections averaging around $1,500.
When will we view our images?
Following your Fairytale session, we will schedule your Virtual Viewing, an elegant and convenient way to select the heirloom artwork that best fits your home and your vision from the comfort of home with all decision makers present. Many families choose to purchase additional images, portraits, or storybooks during their viewing.
What should I wear?
Choosing the right wardrobe for your family photography session helps create timeless, cohesive portraits that you’ll cherish for years. Here’s a simple guide to ensure everyone looks their best: Select 2–4 complementary colors rather than matching outfits exactly. Soft neutrals and muted tones photograph beautifully and keep the focus on your family’s connection.
How long until I receive my photos?
Turnaround time is typically 4–8 weeks depending on the size of your package (can be longer for large, framed artwork)
Will I need to come back to the studio to pick up my products?
No, we will be shipping the product to your home address.
Will you retouch my images?
We will be adding artistry to the images that you have chosen at your viewing, and retouching as needed.
Do I own the copyright to my photos?
Timeless Portraits retains the copyright, meaning we may use them for marketing purposes/social media. That being said, when you arrive at our studio you will be signing a release form and you do have the option to opt out of us using your images for marketing or social media content.
