What you can expect
from your
Fairytale session
Our Fairytale Sessions are where imagination comes to life. For years, we’ve poured our hearts into creating magical portraits that capture the wonder of childhood, the giggles, the shy glances, the bursts of laughter, and all the little in-between moments that mean so much.
As you enter our studio, you’re greeted by twinkling fairy lights and a few of our gentle animal friends, setting the tone for the adventure ahead. From there, your child is transformed with our thoughtfully selected wardrobe, featuring dresses, overalls in sizes 2T through XL, flower crowns and hats.
To help them look and feel their best, we recommend arriving with their hair and makeup already done, as these services are not provided in-studio.
Once ready, they step into our magical forest, a place where magic feels real and play leads the way. Rather than strict posing, we invite children to explore, imagine, and simply be themselves. We keep the experience lighthearted and engaging, using movement and play to capture genuine expressions and natural joy.
Each session becomes its own little story, resulting in timeless images filled with personality, wonder, and a touch of magic. The result is a refined collection of images that beautifully preserve this fleeting season of childhood.

Our Fine Art Fairy and Fisherman sessions are at the heart of what we do. Each experience is thoughtfully designed to create a collection of extraordinary portraits for your family, with approximately 14–18 artfully composed images to choose from.
Following your Fairytale session, we will schedule your Virtual Viewing, an elegant and convenient way to select the heirloom artwork that best fits your home and your vision from the comfort of home. This personalized experience allows you to share the moment with any loved ones or decision-makers who wish to be present, ensuring a relaxed and meaningful selection process. Once your favorite portraits are chosen, each image is carefully handcrafted by our talented artist, who brings the artwork to life with custom enhancements such as glowing lanterns, luminous storybook details, fireflies, butterflies, rich color artistry, and other magical finishing touches.
Our specialty is museum-quality wall art, available in canvas, fine art paper, and beautifully framed finishes. We offer a wide range of sizes, from 10" to 60", allowing families to create anything from a statement piece to a full custom wall collection.
One of our client favorites is our album collection. We offer exceptional gallery albums designed to
preserve your family’s portraits in a timeless, tangible way.
For families who value the flexibility of sharing and printing, we also offer digital collections. While delivered in digital format, these portraits receive the same level of artistic attention and professional finishing as every piece we create. Digital collections are available.
These custom portrait sessions are designed to deliver more than photographs, they become
meaningful artwork for your home and lasting heirlooms for your family.
Artwork investments begin at $500, with most families investing around $1,000-$2000. For those who desire larger collections or statement pieces, investments may exceed $3,000.
FAQ
How far in advance should I book?
This will depend on a few factors so we always suggest calling and one of our agents will find a session perfect for you.
Why do we ask for a deposit?
The deposit holds your place and ensures that everyone is invested in showing up for their session. It can then be applied to your order if you choose to order more products that you fall in love with.
What is the cancellation/rescheduling policy?
We do allow for reschedules as long as they are at least 7 days prior to the session. We will allow for ONE emergency one time reschedule inside of that 7 days however, the reservation can then only be applied to an order.
What payment methods do we accept?
We accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express, Apple Pay and Amazon Pay. We also, offer payment plans through Affirm and Klarna
What should I wear?
For our Fairytale sessions we will supply clothing 2t-xl. We have dresses for the girls and overalls and white t-shirts for the boys. If we ask you to have a child come dressed, solid colors are usually recommended to avoid busy patterns. For girls hair, we usually say one braid, curled or mermaid style is usually great for the flower crown, we will ask to pin bangs back if they are in their eyes. For boys hair, we just ask that their hair is not going to get in their eyes or cover their face.
Do you have props or do I need to bring them?
We will supply the props for all categories.
How long until I receive my photos?
Turnaround time is typically 4–8 weeks depending on the size of your package (can be longer for large, framed artwork)
Will I need to come back to the studio to pick up my products?
No, we will be shipping the product to your home address.
Will you retouch my images?
We will be adding artistry to the images that you have chosen at your viewing, and retouching as needed.
When will we view our images?
Following your Fairytale session, we will schedule your Virtual Viewing, an elegant and convenient way to select the heirloom artwork that best fits your home and your vision from the comfort of home with all decision makers present. Many families choose to purchase additional images, portraits, or storybooks during their viewing.
Do I own the copyright to my photos?
Timeless Portraits retains the copyright, meaning we may use them for marketing purposes/social media. That being said, when you arrive at our studio you will be signing a release form and you do have the option to opt out of us using your images for marketing or social media content.
